As explained at the beginning of this decision, Personal Protection received the responses and requested data from the Icelandic genetic analysis after repeating its mission three times. In the opinion of the Personal Protection Agency, the delay in the responses and delivery of the data of the Icelandic Genetic Analysis is reprehensible in light of the institution's supervisory role. In spite of that, this case has not been put into criminal proceedings, as the company's answers and the requested data were eventually received by the Data Protection Authority, in addition to which the circumstances due to the outbreak that has erupted are taken into account, cf.
